European Center for Services Investments and Financing - ECSIF Ltd. is going further to fulfil its mission by investing own or attracted funds in the development of European innovative companies. Our range of investments, vary from acceleration stage Start-ups to early IPO - successful SMEs. We selectively invest in the following innovative industries: Fin Tech,  Energy Tech, Health Tech.

 

EUROPEAN VIRTUAL ACCELERATOR

European Center for Services Investments and Financing - ECSIF Ltd. organises each year an accelerator programme for young and ambitious startups that wish to disrupt the European market in the Financial, Energy and Health realm. We partner with leading companies in these industries in order to create an environment that is fruitful for further development.

MINORITY INVESTMENTS IN ESTABLISHED SMES

Last year we have partenered with Google Campus network and sent dedicated teams to London, Madrid, Tel Aviv and Warsaw to meet with innovative start-ups in Europe. This year we will continue our European tour to identify the most promising innovative SMEs in Fin Tech, Energy Tech and Health Tech, in order to provide them with development services, consulting in finance or to invest in their growth. We partner with other institutional  or private investors for identifying growing SMEs going to disrupt the European market.

FIN TECH

ECSIF is investing in the following companies:

DebtX is a new  FinTech solution that uses highly complex computational algorithms to interpret information from different open sources. This innovative trading platform addresses the European NPLs challenge by using a complex algorithm to reduce their number through a case by case transaction activity. DebtX is part of the 2017 cohort of ECSIF EU acceleration program.

Natixis aquired PayPlug Labs that offer SMEs a next-generation payment system that will reduce software integration costs thanks to a state-of-the-art REST API, and provide low-touch fraud protection thanks to modern statistical algorithms and machine learning. PayPlug won an 1.750.000 Euro SME Instrument Phase II award.

MyBucks is a fintech company based in Luxembourg that embraces technology as a means to provide financial products and services to the low and middle-income consumer segment, predominantly in emerging markets. Our broad portfolio includes banking, lending, and insurance products, and is supported by financial services such as mobile banking, credit reports with credit education features as well as financial budgeting, and emergency cover through insurance. To date, it has disbursed over 1 million loans with a value exceeding 250 Million Euros. MyBucks Named 'Best Financial Inclusion Company' at European FinTech Awards 2017.

Augmentum Fintech is a new fund investing in early-stage financial technology companies in the UK and wider Europe. The new company is acquiring Augmentum's existing investments in a portfolio of five fintech firms, including Seedrs, Zopa, Interactive Investor, BullionVault and SRL Global.

The Naga Group AG operates financial technology ventures with innovative business models. By offering a streamlined company building process it is able to pursue disruptive ideas in an organized and efficient manner. Naga mission is to revolutionize the outdated banking sector following particular values. It stands for disruptive concepts, an experienced team and a strong technology focus. Naga passionately believe in technology and that there is a solution to every problem. It wants to ease banking services and make it accessible to everyone. Its platform, SwipeStox won Finnovate Europe 2016 for its mobile social trading app that allows anyone to trade forex, market indicies, and CFDs by copying single trades.

ENERGY TECH

ECSIF is investing in the following companies:

McPhy Energy specializes in manufacturing and marketing hydrogen production and storage equipments in form of solid from water electrolysis. The group also provides electrolyzers, storage containers as well as integrated solutions for the energy, industry and transport sectors.At the end of 2016, McPhy Energy has 3 production sites located in France, Germany and Italy.Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Europe (42.6%), Asia/Pacific (49.9%), Middle East and Africa (4.6%) and the Americas (2.9%).


Mantex develops and manufactures measurement system scanners which helps analyze biomaterials to the processing industry. Its products inlclude biofuel analyzer, flow scanner, and log scanner. Mantex beneficiated of an SME Instrument Phase II grant in value of 1.634.885 Euros.

PwrX is an innovative platform for trading energy in the retail and SMEs sector. Its complex algorithm enables gathering different sources of energy for matching the customer's order. PwrX was successfully accepted into the ECSIF EU acceleration program.

Enertime specializes in the design, development and implementation of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) machines for industrial energy efficiency and decentralized renewable energy production. The company offers ORC machines that help generate electricity from heat.Enertime is one of the world's three leading ORC players and the unique French company with a full mastery of this high-power machine technology (1 MW plus).62% of the net sales are generated internationally.

HEALTH TECH

ECSIF is investing in the following companies:

Biovica is a biotech company. It develops and commercializes blood-based biomarker assays that improve the monitoring of modern cancer therapies and better predict patient outcome. Biovica is a SME Instrument Phase I winner.

Theranexus, a French biotech company that develops drugs for the treatment of central nervous system disorders, celebrated today its listing on Euronext Growth (ticker code: ALTHX). Theranexus was part of the first TechShare class of 2015, and is the third company in the programme to go public, joining a community of over 330 tech companies listed on Euronext.

Bonesupport Holding AB is an orthobiologics company developing and commercializing innovative injectable bio ceramic bone graft substitutes which remodel to host bone and have the capability to elute drugs directly into the bone void. The company won an SME Instrument Phase I award.
